PCS and CellMax Sytems, LTD. In joint development of a payment system for school cafeterias that operates on voice-based identification. By saying a name and student number, the student can cause his or her account data and photo to appear on the food server’s screen and be charged automatically. The system also can recognize parents’ voices when they call by phone. At press time, the system was scheduled to complete its first phase of pilot testing in May ‘07. New technology allows the system to sense an individual voice regardless of background noise in the lunchroom, and we’ve even managed to overcome cellular phone distortion.

An application which enables parents to apply for the Free and Reduced program online.

PAMS releases Student Account Activity Monitor.

The system allows parents to view a complete statement of daily debits and credits to their student’s meal account. Parents are able to view what their child purchased at the school cafeteria, item prices, and payment history.

PAMS releases the Lunch Phone.

Easy to use, parents can pay for their child’s meals by just entering their child’s meal account ID and credit card number. In addition, Parents can also monitor their child’s lunch account balance and check the dates and amounts of their most recent payments.
